He possibly saved my life throughout middle school and high school and is continuing to do so to this day!! I have all of his records (on LP!) up to Open Road and the double record collection thing in 72 I think. My favorite is probably Sunshine Superman and Mellow Yellow (the records, not the songs) although I love them all. House of Jansch is so incredible... (so is Bert Jansch - you know him? John Renbourn - Pentangle??) He makes me cry and realize truths that otherwise I might never have figured out. I think that somehow we knew each other in a different life or maybe we're soul mates (and I don't say this lightly). I was honestly in love with him for years and still am, although it's been put on hold since I have a boyfriend and I probably shouldn't devote all my young love on someone who's 50ish, married, and who I'll probably never meet. But anyway, he is an incredible musician, human, and poet and I love him like I love myself.
